Before you build.
What do I get back?
An mp4 at 1264×720 (or 720×1264 portrait, or square), 24 fps, with AAC sound, plus a poster image. Files stay up for 7 days, so copy them to your own storage.
How long can a video be?
5 to 15 seconds per clip. For longer, /v1/sequences chains segments, each starting on the last frame of the one before, and joins them into one file of up to 60 seconds.
How fast is it?
A 5-second clip took 9 to 21 seconds from request to file in our tests (fal's H3 Max Turbo took 5 to 13). Jobs run in the order they arrive, and long clips render one segment after another, so a 30-second clip takes a few minutes. Use a webhook rather than polling hard.
What if a video fails?
You get your money back automatically. A video is charged when it starts and refunded if it fails or is blocked, so you only pay for files you receive.
Who owns the videos?
You do. They are AI-generated, so label them where the law asks you to, and do not strip the files' metadata. Details are in the terms.
What can't I make?
Sexual content involving minors, real people without their consent, deceptive deepfakes, and the other things in our acceptable use policy. If your app has users, the same rules apply to them.
