Who we are
fast.video is a product of Theseus AI ("Theseus", "we", "us"), the company behind Director.video, which is the controller of the personal data described here. Questions: [email protected].
What we collect
Account: your email address. Your work: the prompts, pictures, reference pictures and sound you send to the API, and the videos it makes for you. Usage and billing: which endpoints you call, what each video cost, your balance, top-ups and receipts (payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number), and your auto top-up settings. API keys: a fingerprint of each key (never the key itself), its name and when it was last used. Technical: IP address, request details and errors, for security, rate limits and to keep the service working.
Analytics
We do not use analytics or advertising trackers on fast.video. The site sets one cookie, and only when you sign in: it keeps your dashboard session. We count usage from our own records to run and improve the service.
We email you sign-in links, notices about your balance, payments and auto top-up, and important changes to the service. If we send news about new features, every such email has an unsubscribe link. We never sell or rent your address.
Who else sees your data
We rely on third-party services to run fast.video: AI model providers that generate the videos, Cloudflare for hosting, storage and content delivery, Stripe for payments, and Resend for email. Some generation runs on our own machines and some on third-party servers, which may be in other countries. Each provider receives only what its part of the job needs — a model provider gets the prompt and media for that video, never your name or email — and processes it on our behalf under its own privacy and retention terms. We do not sell your data.
Faces and voices
When you send a picture of a person or a voice track (as a start frame, a reference or audio), it is processed only to make that video, on our machines or a model provider's. It is not stored as a face or voice template, not matched against anything, and never sold. Uploads are deleted within 24 hours and the files of each video within 7 days.
Training
We may use your prompts and the pictures and videos the service makes for you to improve the service and to train our own AI models. We do not use the faces or voices of real people you upload for training, and we do not sell your content or give it to other companies to train on, except as required or permitted by the terms of the AI model providers that generate your videos. You can opt out by emailing [email protected]; deleting content or your account stops it going forward.
Your rights
You can see your usage and payments on your account page and download your usage as a file. To delete your account, or to ask what we hold about you, email [email protected] from your account email. Closed accounts are archived for 30 days, then purged.
Retention and security
Finished videos are deleted after 7 days and uploads after 24 hours. Account, usage and billing records are kept while your account is open, and billing records as long as the law requires. Access is limited to staff who need it for support, safety review and abuse prevention; our staff may view what you send and what the service makes for you for those purposes, as described in the Terms.
Children
The service is for people 16 and over.
Changes
For material changes we email account holders before they take effect and note the new date here.
